Sake Day 2022 in New York City hosted by Brooklyn Kura and the American Sake Association.

Sake Day is October 1st, the one day every year the world comes together to celebrate our favorite beverage: SAKE! This year, come celebrate with us at Brooklyn Kura’s taproom from 7pm-11pm

Tickets give you access to:

A guided sake tasting. To start the night, join us for an educational introduction to sake tasting. Come by and learn all about how to taste sake from the experts. Sake tasting sheets and a sake flight are provided!

Shizuku drip! There will be a live demonstration of a rare and delicious sake pressing method called the “shizuku” method. Sake drips from bags without any pressing or pressure. the resulting sake is sublime and you can only have this experience at a sake brewery!

Lots of Sake! walk around and enjoy sake from some of the best portfolios in NYC – the sake presented will change every hour! you’ll get fresh tastes and delicious discoveries throughout the night.

Delicious Food! We’ll have delicious bites and food being grilled onsite and ready for you to enjoy.

Learn while you sip! Questions about sake? Sake experts are on hand all night to talk to you one-on-one about your sake questions

Raffle Giveaways! Every hour will give away exciting sake swag to a lucky attendee drawn at random

The American Sake Association (ASA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the goal of educating individuals about sake while raising funds for charities approved by the Association. We welcome anyone to join our events and learn about sake. The Association is a network of individual members and all are welcome!
